Customer Code of Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service and upholding any of our policies if at any point a member of our team is not treated with respect, feels threatened, or aggressive language is used in communicating with Friday Sock Co. 

Returns

If you change your mind about your order for whatever reason, we will accept your return as long as it’s initiated within 30 days of your order date. You can initiate a return by calling or emailing our customer service team. To qualify for a return, socks must be unworn, unwashed, and the tags must still be attached. If you are returning Canned Socks, Laundry Boxes, or Greeting Cards, they must be intact and unopened.

We will refund what you paid for the merchandise less our own shipping cost. If you paid $5 shipping but it cost us $12 to send out your order, then we will refund you for the order minus $12. 

Any costs associated with returning the items are the responsibility of the customer. We ask that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your return otherwise.

Once your returned items have been received and looked over, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Socks can be sent to the following address, and don’t forget to either notify our team through email or include a note with your name and order number with the shipment.

If you receive a pair of socks that are damaged or notice that your socks have been damaged through no fault of your own, please contact us at customerservice@fridaysocks.com with a photo of the damage and someone will get back to you shortly to resolve the matter.

Wear and Tear Policy

Because we have no way of knowing how each of our customers wears our socks, we are unable to offer a wear-and-tear guarantee. Our socks are classified as casual dress socks and are not meant to be worn for activities such as hiking, running, or physically demanding jobs (the kind you’d wear work boots for). For these activities we recommend wearing a technical or sport sock that is made to withstand the demands of that type of activity. 

We pride ourselves on knowing we have made a high quality product that is built to last during normal use. Excessive friction on rough surfaces such as concrete or carpet can cause the cotton to fuzz and/or pull and is considered a normal event with socks that have a high cotton content like ours.

Refund & Replacement Policy

All refunds and replacements for damaged socks are reviewed on a case by case basis as there is not a one sock fits all solution. In order for us to assist you, please send us an email with the details of your purchase and your issue. Make sure to detail how and where you wear and wash the socks. We recommend machine washing on a gentler cycle with similar items and hang dry whenever possible. Where possible, please include images of the products in questions.

Refunds and replacements for wear-and-tear are issued on a discretionary basis. Once a decision is made it is considered final.

Canada & US Shipping Issues

If you believe that your order has been lost in the mail, please contact us within 30 days of your order shipment date, however we are not responsible for any shipments that have been lost in transit. Please be aware a wrong address can result in lost mail and it is not always the case that unaccepted mail will be sent back to our warehouse. There are cases where we do not receive refused shipments back and they end up delivered to someone else. When placing an order, be sure that you are double and triple checking the shipping information.

If your shipment is returned to us for any reason we will contact you to resolve the issue. If you opt for us to re-send the package out to you, we will ask that the shipping charge be covered once more if the return was no fault of our own, such as an incorrect address being entered at checkout. 

Otherwise, returned shipments will be refunded less our cost of shipping. If you paid $5 shipping but it cost us $12 to send out your order, then we will refund you for what you paid minus $12. 

International Order Shipping Issues

If you believe that your order has been lost in the mail, please contact us immediately so that we can work with our shipping partners to investigate the issue. Note that our shipping partners have different methods of resolution with each destination country and that investigation times may vary. 

Because of the nature of international mail, orders can take between 45-60 days to make their way back to Canada. We will not issue any refunds or replacements until we receive the socks back or we receive notice from our shipping partners that your order will not be delivered.

Time Frame

If there are any issues we need to have communication within 30 days of the normal shipping window so it can not only be dealt with in a timely manner, but so we have time to communicate with our shipping partners within their allotted time window.
