Friday Sock Co. is Canada’s original mismatched sock company, founded and based in Calgary, where all of our intentionally mismatched designs are created. We ethically produce premium-quality socks in Italy and create custom socks for companies big and small across North America.
Friday Sock Co. was established in the spring of 2014 and launched in January 2015 in Calgary, Alberta. The company was born from the desire to create uniquely different sock designs that didn’t exist in the marketplace, and that same spirit of creativity continues to guide us today. We strive to create one-of-a-kind patterns that spark joy and make people smile.
At our core, we just want to make fun socks; responsibly and consciously, while giving back to our community and beyond. Each pair of purposely mismatched socks is designed here in Canada and ethically made in Italy by a small, family-owned factory we’ve worked closely with for years. We visit them annually, know the people who make our product, and value the craftsmanship and care that goes into every pair.
We use high-quality Certified Eco-Friendly Egyptian Combed Cotton for our adult socks, and G.O.T.S. certified Organic Combed Cotton for our Friday Kids line. All of our soft cotton yarns are tested for harmful materials and produced in an eco-friendly environment, ensuring that each pair feels as good as it looks.
